Highlights of Stella's accomplishments

2002

Stella gets WB for a 3 pt major
at 6 1/2 months of age on Jan 12-13, 2002!!!!

Stella won WB/BOW, first weekend in April, adding 2 more points toward her Canadian CH.

Stella won another 4 points on the Jan 19 - 20, 2002 weekend at
the Camden shows in NJ.....by going WB on Fri for 1 pt; WB/BOW/BOB on Sat for 2 pts beating 2 specials and 5 class dogs; WB/BOW on Sun for 1 pt.

Stella wins her 2nd major at Springfield in April. She was exactly 10 months old that weekend.

Stella got her THIRD major in Biddeford, ME first weekend in May.

Stella completes her American Championship on June 16, 2002. She is the first CH out of the Chocolate litter.

Stella completes her Canadian Championship on August 17, 2002. She is now an AM / CAN CH !!!!

2003 & 2004

Stella is group placing.

2005

Multiple breed winning.

2006

Stella is multiple group placing and finished the year, with very limited showing, ranked 18 in Canine Chronicle All-Breed rankings.

She is currently ranked 8th in the ABTC Top Ten Bitches (through 6/30/06).

2007

Stella starts out the year with a Group 4 at Rockland County Kennel Club

Over Labor Day weekend, Bogart and Stella went to their first herding trials and each came home with their first herding titles. Stella is now A/C Ch Waldenmark's Hot Chocolat PT and Bogart is Ch Waldenmark's Here's Lookin' at Ewe PT.

Stella is multiple group placing and she finished the year by ranking 9th in Canine Chronicle All Breed (final stats).

Final rankings for 2007......Stella is ranked 10th overall in the American Belgian Tervuren Club rankings and ranked 4th in the Top Ten Bitches.

2009

Life seems to dole out its doses of harsh realities from time to time......for all of us who love our dogs so dearly, that time can never feel more harsh than when we lose one of them.

On March 31, 2009, we had to let our beloved and adored Stella go. Barely 8, she was diagnosed in Feb with a form of osteosarcoma that attacked her T1 vertebra. We took her weekly to Tufts for treatment, which included meds and radiation. The radiation treatment appeared to be very effective however, once the radiation was stopped, the cancer came back with a vengeance, destroying the vertebra.

To those of us who knew her, she was Miss Stella-bella, Stinky Stella, Stinkerbelle, Miss GooGoo Eyes.....she was like a sprite with mischievous twinkling eyes who readily included you in her world.
