Captain and
Keya
- Agility
qualifying
trials in
Canada
(report by
Heather
McKay):
"Captain
qualified
this
weekend
for the
Steeplechase
finals
at the
Ontario
Regionals
and came
in 3rd
in his
division
which
was
Veterans!
Did not
enter
Keya in
the
Steeplechase
- wanted
to
"save"
her for
the
qualifiers.
In the
agragates
(which
is the
final
tallies
after
running
6 trials
on the 2
days)
Captain
was 8th
overall
in 22"
Veterans
and -
this is
huge-
Keya was
10th in
the
Regular
26" next
to Susan
Garrett
and all
the
border
collies!
The 26"
class is
the most
competitive
as all
the
border
collie
people
are in
to
qualify
for the
Worlds.
So, I
was on
the
podium
with
both
dogs.
Needless
to say I
will be
at the
Canadian
Nationals
in
August
with my
2. The
dogs
need 350
points -
Captain
got
449.10 &
Keya
522.82."
Captain
and Keya
get their
Cdn CGC,
in Canada
that's a
