She
came
to us
late
in
October,
1995 at 9
months
of
age.
Nell
was a bitch of
great and noble
character, totally
devoted, and had
the innate
knowledge and
instincts to do
things 'just
right'.
|
|
She
finished
in the
US in
4
weekends
and in
Canada
in 2
weekends
with
multiple
breed
wins.
Late
in the
year
1996, she
sustained
a
severe
leg
injury
and was
not shown
afterward.
|
|
|
|
We
bred
her in
July,
1997 to our
Jake
and
she
had a
litter
of 10
puppies
in
September.
There
were 6
boys
and 4
girls
in
this
litter
which
produced
our
"Goldie". |
|
As
a mother she was
impeccable,
patient, loving,
nurturing.
We couldn't have
had a better
foundation than
she. |
|
|
|
In
October of 2000,
she
had
another
litter
of 9
puppies
sired
by our
Jake.
There
were 4
boys
and 5
girls
in
this
litter.
One of
whom
won
BOS in
Sweeps
at the
Canadian
Regional
Specialty
in
2001. |

When
her Coffee
'baby', Goldie,
had puppies in
the Summer of
2001, she
couldn't wait to
get in to see
them.
When
that day came,
she was truly in
7th heaven ..... |
|

|
......lying
on the ground
while the puppies
crawled all over
her, inspecting
each puppy making
sure he/she was
tidy, and
patiently allowing
the puppies to
nibble on her
ears, feet, neck
...... |
| .......it was a
picture of delight
for her and for
us. |
|
|
|
Her
legacy in
her
offspring
are
beautiful,
healthy,
young dogs
with
wonderful
temperament.
To-date, 7 of her kids
are
champions
and 4 of her
grandkids are
Champions as well
as several
have
obedience
titles.
Nell is only 7
points away from
earning a C-BAR.
She has passed
on her
wonderful
mothering
instincts to
her daughter
Goldie.

As
a companion, she
was devoted and
loving and always
there for us.
We miss her
greatly. We
could not have
asked for better.
Our
beautiful
girl.......Greatly loved
and sadly missed !
